Surrendering Your Maremma
We understand that surrendering a dog is never an easy decision, and we are here to support you through the process with honesty and care.
The first step is to complete the surrender application form. Once submitted, an MRV volunteer will contact you within 7 business days to discuss your dog’s needs, current rescue capacity, potential alternative options, and whether surrender is the most appropriate pathway.
Please note that submitting a surrender application does not guarantee placement, nor can we provide specific timeframes. As a foster-based rescue, our capacity is limited and dependent on suitable foster homes becoming available.
We will always do our best to support each dog and owner, and we appreciate your patience and understanding.
Please upload as many supporting documents as possible when completing the form, including veterinary records, behavioural assessments, and clear photos of your dog.
